Two months tonight since you left us and went to a better place – not a day goes by that I don’t think about you and miss your “hey Dad can I …..”. You are with me everywhere I go and your always on my mind: As I was driving today I heard the new Ziggy Marley song Lighthouse and I couldn’t help but think of you talking to us and encouraging us to keep the faith that we would all be together again and you’ll greet us when we arrive; in the meantime son keep “holding up the fire and lighting up the sky” we’ll make it home someday, with no more reason to cry.
